I adore buttons. When I was on pain killers for my wisdom teeth surgery, I made a necklace made out of ribbon and different buttons I found in my mom's sewing closet. It was the pinnacle of my career as a fashion designer. One thing that I especially adore are exposed buttons on the back of a shirt. It reminds me of the 1960s short blouses worn with high waisted pants. Honestly, I cannot think of anything more simplistically sexy. That is why I am coveting this new jacket on J Crew.
